Born on July 13, 1991, in Medellín, Colombia — a symbolic day marking the writing of Colombia’s Constitution — Camila Chica, now citizen of the US, has built a life rooted in purpose, knowledge, and service. A prodigious learner and passionate leader, she exemplifies a rare blend of artistic talent, political insight, technological expertise, and spiritual conviction.
Camila’s academic journey began at age 15 with a degree in Acting, Modeling, Protocol, and Glamour. She graduated from high school at just 16 and soon earned a coveted spot at the University of Antioquia, one of Colombia's most competitive public universities. There, she pursued a degree in Political Science, securing first place in admissions and maintaining an outstanding academic record (92/100 GPA), earning a scholarship for her high performance.
Her drive for knowledge is boundless. She holds associate degrees in Accounting and Business Administration (the latter completed as a Bachelor’s Degree in Barranquilla), studied Interior Design for one year, and has continually expanded her learning through certifications in Human Rights, Conflict Resolution, Public Policy, Environmental Studies (in Geneva, Switzerland), and Global Marketing.
Passionate about languages and culture, Camila has studied English for over a decade, speaks Spanish fluently, studied German for six months, and has been learning French for a year. Her deep love for art and heritage is reflected in her 18 national exhibitions of realistic oil-on-canvas paintings in Colombia.
Her professional path has been equally dynamic. She spent six years in sales within major automotive dealerships like Chevrolet. She later entered the aviation industry in Peru, where she began marketing aircraft parts and trained as a pilot, earning a student pilot license in Miami, Florida. In 2020, Camila launched her own aviation company in the U.S., specializing in aircraft listings and aviation parts trading.
Since moving to the United States in 2019, Camila has flourished as a leader and visionary. She has graduated from Computer Science at the University of Miami and is now focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, inspired by innovators like Noam Shazeer. Her goal is to be at the forefront of technological advancement, with aspirations of one day becoming President of either Colombia or the United States.
Camila coordinated three brands under Bitway International Group: Zion International University (ZIU), Zion TV, and IM. She is currently studying Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration and Freedom of Religion at ZIU, while simultaneously pursuing a Google Data Analytics certification.
Faith is central to Camila’s life. A devout member of the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International, she has read the Bible three times so far and attends church almost daily. Her spiritual and civic convictions also led her to actively volunteer with MIRA USA and serve within the MIRA political party. She co-authored a book on Miraismo, and has participated in key global forums — including attending the United Nations Congress on Freedom of Religion in Geneva in 2023, alongside notable Colombian leaders.
In 2023, she also represented the aviation sector at the Aviation Week in Atlanta, Georgia, and has traveled widely across the U.S. and Latin America — visiting cities like Denver, New York, Washington, Chicago, Las Vegas, and regions like the Grand Canyon and North Carolina.
As a political activist, Camila played a critical role in the 2024 campaign of Charles Whatley, the most voted independent candidate for sheriff in Broward County’s history. She continues to support his upcoming campaign, now aligned with the Republican Party.
Her academic contributions include leading the research project that culminated in the book Procesos Artísticos y Culturales en la Comuna 1 de Medellín, published with support from the University of Antioquia and the city’s government.
